Refund policy
How Sotiris Cars approaches changes, cancellations and refunds for concierge-led rentals.
1. General principles
Every journey is planned individually. Refund terms therefore depend on the specific vehicle, dates and services confirmed in your booking. The principles below describe the typical approach and will be refined in your written confirmation.
2. Cooling-off and grace windows
Where local law provides a statutory cooling-off period, this will be honoured. In addition, Sotiris Cars may offer a short grace period after initial confirmation during which minor adjustments can be made without charge, provided that the vehicle and services can still be reallocated.
3. Guest-initiated cancellations
If you choose to cancel, any refund will depend on how far in advance you cancel and whether alternative bookings can be secured for the same period. Closer to the start date, a portion of the rental and service fees may become non-refundable due to committed costs, such as preparation, logistics and third-party arrangements.
4. Changes to dates or vehicles
The team will always try to accommodate changes to dates, vehicles or itinerary. Where a requested change reduces the value or duration of the booking, revised pricing and any partial refunds will be confirmed in writing before the change is applied.
5. Provider-initiated changes
In the rare event that a confirmed vehicle or service becomes unavailable for reasons beyond reasonable control, the concierge will propose equivalent alternatives. If no suitable alternative is available, any pre-paid amounts relating to the affected element will be refunded.
6. How refunds are handled
If any amount has been prepaid offline or by separate agreement, approved refunds are returned using the method set out in your confirmation. Timing can depend on banks or payment intermediaries outside the control of Sotiris Cars.
